My stay was perfect for a weekend stroll as i could easily walk to lake merritt, a beautiful spot for relaxation and nature, while being so close to jack london square, which is full of vibrant restaurants and shops. the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room had all the essentials for a single traveler. but i felt some snacks were a bit overpriced.

Solo traveler experience worth it

The front doors need a code to get in, so that keeps the randoms out. They provide earplugs in case the local pubs get crazy at night.

I was disappointed with the bathroom lighting in my room. It was incredibly dim and made it difficult to get ready in the mornings. The showerhead had weak water pressure, which was frustrating, especially after a long day out. Also, the towels were placed inconveniently far from the shower, which added to my annoyance during my stay.
